Best Primary Doctor for me ever!

I called Dr. Melvin's office to schedule an aviation medical exam since she claims to be a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. I was told she does not do AME assisted Special Issuance medical certification. It seems to me that if you want to wear the title you should be willing to do the job. I suggest you look elsewhere if you are looking for an AME.

I picked her out of the phone book for two reasons: I wanted a woman physician, and her medical school and post grad training couldn't have been better. After 5 plus years I know that I was correct in my choice. She is very competant, caring, professional and organized.

Very comfortable first visit. Spent thirty five to forty minutes with me. Her questions were numerous and complete. The blood test which she required prior to the visit was thorough.We left feeling we were in capable hands.
