Dr. Ellen Eva Scholnicoff, MD

I rarely write reviews however, this visit I felt warranted one! I found Ms. Scholnicoff to be rude, condescending and dismissive. She did not listen to my concerns and acted as if everything I had to say had no merit. She had no intertest in my health concerns and at times her responses were extremely rude! This visit gave me no relief or helpful recommendations for the future.

Dr Scholnicoff takes the time to answer all of our questions. I trust her with our children and their allergies. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

I have never written a review about anything or anyone before but feel strongly about my experience. My 5 year old was shy and starting crying when she went to examine her. Dr. Scholnicoff was very impatient and left the exam room and told me she would be back when she could because she has more patients to see. Not understanding at all on how to treat kids. She even asked me if this is the way my daughter always acts. Made my husband and I not feel comfortable. We will not go back. I am in the health field and am understanding to how busy it can be but she needs to be more understanding. Office staff was very nice and office was very clean.

Dr. Scholnikoff dismissed my daughter’s food allergies and implied that she was imagining them. She was not interested in listening to her. She doesn’t believe peanut allergies are airborne despite my daughter getting hives when others are eating them and she hasn’t gone anywhere near it many times since she was 2. She is a terrible allergist. She seemed annoyed when I asked why the staff and patients were eating granola bars and open coffee cups with milk in the waiting room.
