Dr. Ellen Susan Sher, MD

This Endocrinologist does not treat diabetes even though it’s listed many places that it is one of her specialties. My child does not even have diabetes but rather insulin resistance and therefore refused to see my child. Very strange that she does not treat diabetes or related problems yet she is an endocrinologist.

Dr. Sher was very personable. She always made my son feel comfortable. She treated him for growth hormone deficiency from age 11 to age 17. My son went from no longer being on the growth chart for height to being 5 foot 10 1/2 inches by the end of his treatment. We are so grateful for her help. I can't imagine what his life would have been like without her help.

We met Dr. Sher when my daughter was in the Medical City NICU. We couldn't be happier with her care and her office staff is amazing. We never wait longer than 5 minutes when we come for an appt and the staff (Heather and Sunny) are always kind and helpful. Dr. Sher has always been patient and helpful with any questions we've had about our daughter's condition and care.

This dr was very unpleasant to deal with. Terrible experience and I hope I never have to deal with her or her office ever again!! Very VERY unprofessional.

I was really disapointed about Dr Sher. My child has a very rare syndrome, she doesn't have enough experience with this syndrome as it so rare and she totally refussed to get advice from the top USA expert in the field located in NY.She refused to start my child in the appropiate treatment she was suppossed to start by age 2 according to the FDA and later on I discovered she even had younger patients in the treatment I had asked for my child, very frustrating. I can only think racial thinking involved.I would never put my child in her hands again.
