Dr. Ellen Irene Zanetakis, MD

Stay away if you want to keep your sanity! Went to her after being sick for several years. She reviewed blood work done by a very good Tulsa ENT who suggested I may have an autoimmune disorder and wanted me to see a specialist. Dr Zanetakis walked in on our very first visit with an attitude that felt like “what are you even doing in my presence?”. She reviewed previous doctors blood labs and told me “there’s nothing wrong with you”. She then requested labs be drawn at her in-house lab which I did. Nurse called back several days later with same diagnoses...nothing, more like its all in your head. I kept digging and found a different, wonderful Tulsa Rheumatoid doctor who, after several long, detailed & professional visits, finally had a diagnoses. Chronic Active Epstein Barr virus in addition to ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome). These 2 illnesses are very serious and not to be taken lightly. Dr Zanetakis could use training in bedside manner and actually listening to her patients as… well as better lab work, actually trying to find a diagnoses. Waste of my time, money and worst of all, told me I wasn’t ill.

Dr. Zanatakis has her mind made up before she walked in. She disregarded my doctors opinion completely. If you do not fit into her box she will not help you figure out what is going on with you. She does not look at you and will argue with you about your symptoms. (I’m sure other people’s toes are bluer than mine, but mine are blue for Me). She is too important to actually talk or listen to you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HER, UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE AND KNOW HER OFFICE OFFERS WHAT YOU NEED, SHE WILL NOT HELP YOU FIGURE IT OUT!!!!! Very negative human being!!!

It will be a waste of time and resources to see this Dr. My mother has an autoimmune disease & I was told I needed to be evaluated due to symptoms and family history. This dr is cold, uncaring, disinterested and failed to consider my problems have started just as my mothers did. Same age everything. She was rude and may as well have said she doesn’t care about her patients. Because it was reflected in everything she did and said.

Refused to take her results and wanted me to stay even later so she could get her own blood work done. I am 89 years old. This Dr would not even look at me or talk to me. Please do not go to the Dr. She needs to go back to med school and redo her bedside manner. I was so frustrated with her and her staff i wanted to cry. She also wanted ti put me on some meds and than said there was no point because it would take up to a year for it to work and it would be pointless to do...

The dr had no bedside manner and she tried to argue about my being vit d dificient. She found out by labs i am. The staff lies. Changes appointment times by calling you. They changed mine to the 25. Then on the 12th called and said i missed my appointmet and now i owe 100$ for the miss. Acted like it was my fault very rudely. Then i get a letter the next day saying our relationship havs been terminated. Bad place. Run for your life. This place will cause a mental breakdown!

Trying to charge me for their mistakes. Office is untrusting and rude. Lie!!!!

Should of read the reviews before scheduling! That is why it is easy to get an appt! She has no bedside manner, she is uncaring, rude, does not listen and was not helpful at all!! Just wants more test, more bloodwork and more return office visits!! Had same experience as other reviews, spent hours filling out paperwork the night before appt, and office visit mainly consisted of answering the same questions again with no answers. Total waste of time and money!!

Don't bother if you have Fibromyalgia. He, and his whole office, have decided this is not worth their time to treat.
