Ellie Leask, PA-C

Ellie Leask is a physician assistant with the orthopedics department at Tamarack Health Ashland Medical Center. She enjoys in-office procedures and specializes in Ultrasound-Guided Musculoskeletal injections and Platelet Rich Plasma injections.
"My vision for patient care is that I believe in quality, compassionate, and timely patient care that uses shared decision-making to manage acute and chronic conditions," she says. "I believe in patient care that improves the patient's quality of life and functioning."
Ellie enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, walking with her dog Tucker, and working on DIY projects. In the summer, she enjoys going to the beach, exploring Lake Superior by boat, and paddle boarding. And in the winter, she enjoys snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
A piece of advice Ellie recommends to her patients is to not "hesitate to ask questions. As a medical provider, my job is to help patients understand their diagnosis and all the treatment …options available to them so that they can make educated choices for their bodies. And stay active. Life is too short not to be able to enjoy and partake in daily activities of importance. As an orthopedic provider, my goal is to provide patients with treatment regimens that improve their quality of life."
