Dr. Elliot D Dibbs, DDS

Dr. Elliot Dibbs, originally from Tampa, grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois. He attended Emory University, earning a degree in Biology, followed by dental school at the University of Illinois. He then received advanced training at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago.
After practicing in Illinois, as well as Key West, Florida, Dr. Dibbs relocated to Venice in November, 2000. He is thrilled with the community and the balance between small town friendliness and large city proximity.
Doctor Dibbs has been an active member of the Venice community since moving to the area. He has been a member of Rotary International for over a decade and joined the Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club when he arrived. He is a Past President of the club, having served as President from 2003-2004. He also acted as the Rotary Advisor the the Venice High School Interact Club from 2001-2006.
Doctor Dibbs has also been very active in fundraising for the American Cancer Society. He helped organize fundraisers with the …Interact Club during Relay For Life during the years he was the advisor. He was also the Event Chair for Relay For Life in 2005 - guiding the event to a record-breaking year, raising over $135,000. He and his office has also been a major contributor to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for the American Cancer Society in Tampa - where he joins his family's team raising funds for breast cancer research. This year the Dibbs Family team was the top fundraising team in Hillborough County, including the corporate teams and he was the number 5 individual fundraiser in the county.
