Has an aggressive attitude and approach to patients. I thought doctors were supposed to be compassionate. Would not want him treating my daughter or any of my family members.

Not sure if it’s his last 2 letters of name, DO, or his low grade training he received from his bottom tier program, but his fraudulent self confidence and poor bed side manners makes this the worst doctor’s visit I have ever received.

I have been urinating blood for 10 weeks and have been in off and on severe pain since. I explained to the Dr. I've been treated with antibiotics already twice and it's not a UTI. The antibiotics did nothing. I came into the Raritan Bay Medical Center ER with severe pain. Running no test, while I was not even in a bed yet, Dr. Goodman mentioned it sounds like Interstitial cystitis. I asked for pain meds 4 times, one nurse gave me motrin, didn't take my pain away. Doesn't take my pain at home either and I brought this up too. I was ignored. Not once did anyone ask me my pain level and not once did the Dr or nurses stop by to check on me. I stated to Dr. Goodman and the Triage nurse that fluids make the pain lessen, but not once was I given fluids. I asked to be discharged 6 hours later. Dr Goodman writes a script for antibiotics diagnosing me with inflammation. I didn't want to go into the hospital but I was in agony. I chose Raritan because the specialist who began treating me 2… days prior practices out of there. My bloodwork proved my creatinine, lymphocytes, AG ratio are high. I have leukocytes and blood in urine and my RBC and bacteria in urine is rare. I also have WBC in urine. I feel something in my stomach and it's become bothersome, but this was ignored too. My CT showed bilateral/adnexal densities. Because of my lack of abdominal fat, the CT states there is limited assessment. But, this Dr made an assessment prior test and I don't feel I should pay this bill. If I didn't know any better and took another round of antibiotics, he could've caused me more harm.

Dr. Goodman is one of the best in the ER. I was there the previous night with a very large, infected abscess on my right arm. The doctor that help me drained it, but left it open.. Which led me to come in the next night in severe pain. Dr. Goodman redid the whole procedure and even though the pain made it unpleasant, he made me feel safe. I go back every 2-3 days to see him and repack my abscess and make sure all is okay. He was very straightforward and was on top of everything, despite of the crutail 4 hour wait time. I will now on always request him if he's available when I am there.

I have now seen Dr. Goodman twice in the past three months- once for my mother and once for myself. The first time I met Dr. Goodman, my mother was admitted to the ER with severe lower abdominal pains and vague answers as she had still been waiting to see a specialist in reference to the situation. He immediately got to work, assessed the situation, had tests run and ordered an emergency surgery for her through the specialist she was waiting on. The entire time, he maintained a gentle tone, he showed compassion, took the time to explain everything, asked pointed questions and did not beat around the bush when it came to answering questions we had. The second time I saw him for my intestinal pains, he was the same- he remembered us with only a few words about our previous visit. He was just as kind and helpful. He quickly arranged the needed tests and apologized for the wait with the hospital and ER being severely back up. He gave us potential answers when a previous emergency… surgery a year ago gave us none. Dr. Goodman recommended a course of action and doctors to follow up with that he had personal experience with, not just picked off a list. If Dr. Goodman ran a practice, I would easily make him my primary care physician. As it is, my mother and I were both very lucky to be treated by him.

My 18 to daughter was seen by this physician after seeing our personal doctor earlier that week. She was treated by our pediatrician for strep throat but was not getting better. In the emergency room this doctor listened to us patiently, gave us a thorough explanation, and ultimately diagnosed my daughter with mono. He did a wonderful job, we were very thankful to face him in the emergency riom

My 6 month old infant was lethargic and breathing abnormally. Dr goodman quickly realized that my child was in diabetic ketoacidosis which is very rare in a child this young. He did a life saving procedure that allowed him to hydrate my child aggressively. He brought the endocrinologist in the middle of the night, and arranged for all further care in the pediatric intensive care unit. Without this doctor my child would be dead today
