Dr goodman saved my life approx 2009. I'm from the Isle of Wight UK. He couldn't do enough for me. His professionalism. Bedside manner. Accessible In my deepest darkest moments. A genuine lovely person. Please whoever is reading this trust me. Dr goodman is the best. I was so very lucky to have met him X

Have been trying to get in contact with Dr. Elliot Goodman and have not been successful since having a procedure. Not a doctor I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Goodman cancelled a time sensitive operation 3 days before I was scheduled for surgery. I had consulted with him, done the bloodwork and he cancelled the appointment to go to a conference. Also he was 40 minutes late to my consultation. Get yourself a surgeon capable of managing their time. Stay away.

Dr. Goodman did my gastric bypass surgery 10yrs ago. I was 515lbs. When I started. After the the surgery I lost a total of 263lbs. I love him he gave me my life back

A mistake in the initial gastric bypass surgery performed by Dr. Goodman was missed by the doctor and his team. I was discharged but readmitted soon after, extremely ill. I was failing, placed on a ventilator and close to death. Multiple surgeries, first by Dr. Goodman and then other suegeons were necessary to discover the source of my deterioration and to correct the problems. I did survive, but have battled medical consequences ever since. In addition to the real danger to my physical health, I was distressed that Dr. Goodman's availability to me diminished markedly as I became increasingly ill. Operations performed by other surgeons in subsequent years showed indications that the first two surgeries were badly performed and inaccurately documented in my medical chart. I am dismayed that Dr. Goodman is still in surgical practice and that his "mistakes," of which I am one of several known, are not published for the public to consider when choosing a bariatric surgeon.
