Dr. Elliot Mark Levine, MD

I had my second visit with Dr. Levine today. I am very happy to have found such a great doctor in my area! He takes the time to explain test results and gives you plenty of time to ask any questions you may have. Holly and the rest of the team were very efficient and welcoming. I feel it is important to feel confidence and comfortable with your Physician and Doctor Levine fits the bill on both counts!

Dr. Levine is astute, caring, current on medical information and advancements, and gives you his full attention and whatever time is needed. Rare in today's medical practice world.

I have been getting my health care at this practice for many years. Dr. Levine has always been very kind and compassionate. On some occasions I have seen Ray Kruk the nurse practitioner. I was always very satisfied with my care. I am in disbelief that someone would actually write that Dr. Levine was stressed about a crisis when he was leaving on vacation. First of all, he is almost always available (hardly ever do I hear that he is away on vacation) and second of all, when he is not available he has excellent coverage.

We used to go to Dr. Levine when he was on Henry Street; he was a humble guy then. When he got his suite in Wappingers, the guy totally changedand became full of himself. When we had an emergency crisis, Dr. Levine was actually annoyed because he was going on vacation. Shame on you, Dr. Levine, shame on you. Hes also so cheap hes the only doctor Ive ever had that wouldn't except credit cards to save money. Also Dianne is a mean witch, but el cheapo doesn't pay benes as well. So, Napoleon complex, and forgot the patients that were with him on the way up.

I was a patient here for over nine years- thru an insurance mixup- which i take responsibilty for-the only problem in the nine years and with one contact from office i was "fired" as a patient and told to go somewhere else. Take this however you wish.

I started seeing Dr. Levine in 1999. He was always very prompt and the staff was always able to squeeze me in same-day. When he moved upstairs, I started seeing Ray, the nurse practioner. He is wonderful and really cares about patients as people. He is just as knowledgable as dr. Levine, and he can write prescriptions too, so I don't mind that they bill the same rate for him. The 2 nurses ate also great! The office staff is clearly very busy but they do their best! I especially like Diane, but some may find her a little abrasive because she's very New York. I like that about her. They always get me in asap and I never have a wait once in. I rave the highest review. Excellent care and very personable while being thorough.

The office staff is terrible. They were dishonest. They switched my appointment to see the doctor for an annual physical to a nurse without my knowledge or permission. The charge is the same for either the doctor or the nurse even though the doctor is much more competent than a nurse. This is a devious practice that borders on being unethical. My wife had the same switch pulled on her. In both cases, the office staf blatantly lied about whether we were informed about the switch. I feel like a ordered and paid for champagne and they served me a beer.

Office staff was rude and lied about appointments several time. Redirected appointments from the doctor to a nurse without my knowledge. Unethical behaviour. Charged the same price for an exam by a nurse as a doctor. Beware!
