Dr. Elliot Aaron Lipstock, MD

Dr Lipstock is a very caring healthcare provider. I especially like his secretary. She is very kind and compassionate. I couldnt afford my copay and she got the ok for me to be seen and not to have to pay copays.

I have been a patient for 12 years now and I think dr. lipstock is just great. I initially went to him because apparently he has alot of doctors as patients and wouldn't they know who was best to see. He is caring and is a good listener and funny

Spends more time talking to his patients about golf and his daughter than about what the patients are there for. Has the patients waiting a long time in the exam room and interrupts visits while he has personal conversations on his cell phone. Judges you on your background, i.e., your insurance, what language you speak, how much money you make, if you're a single parent, if you've ever taken drugs, etc. GOOD physicians care for everyone equally, not pick-and-choose. He expects everyone to see him 5 times before he finally prescribes something. He's forgotten the Hippocratic Oath. All he cares about is the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR.

I found Dr. Lipstock through my insurance. During the visit, one of the receptionist checked if I was covered with my insurance. They called my insurance company and everything worked out and the doctor saw me. Later, I got a bill for the services that day. I admittedly waited to long to fix the problem, but once I tried to contact the office, his wife who is in charge of billing, refused to file a claim. His wife, Diane, said she had done it before, even though my insurance company said they had no record of ever denying any claim. I called her to try and straighten it out because my insurance company gave me information to pass on to her to fix the problem, she refused to do it and hung up on me right after threatening to take me to small claims court. My insurance took care of it, but I had to file the claim myself. His wife was unprofessional and unwilling to work with me to fix the problem. What made things worse is that I mentioned a problem to Dr. Lipstock, and he said it was… normal, but later another doctor told me I needed surgery to fix it. Now, I'm doing much better, but overall I was greatly dissatisfied with the experience. I would not recommend this doctor.

I was told by my insurance that I had to have a primary doctor not a specialist and they gave me him. He never diagnosed me correctly, refused to give me the tests I needed to help. When I did get tests done, I could not get results told to me. He always talked to me like I was stupid. The last time I went in there I was dealing with nausea,and all the symptoms of pregnancy.. He gave me Vicodin for the gag reflex issues and told me to rest cause it was the flu. He refused to test me for thyroid illnesses and when he finally tested me, I waited a month for my results and he did not explain anything. He just said that is was all hogwash and the tests do not prove anything. His phlebotomist told me I had abnormal results and should seek a second opinion and that is where I found out that I was pregnant and have Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism. I feel that he is a danger to his patients.

I find Dr. Lipstock to be attentive, caring and seems to spend adequate time with me to listen and treat accordingly. I get an appointment when needed and a follow up if required. No over done treatments or labs. Just ones required. He tends to the older population. I am 57 so , I feel comfortable with him. I am also female. He has a 'father' like bedside manner.

I would not recommend this doctor. He has a very high opinion of himself and does not respect and listen to his patients.
