Dr. Elliott Joseph Bettman, MD

I had read the reviews for this office and thought it was people just mad over something else but I was wrong. Horrible person who does not know how to talk to patients or his staff. When trying to call the office the voice mail box is always full and when its not calls are not returned. Very unprofessional as he sent me to a urologist specialist only to have the urologist tell me that my doctor should have found my condition and I shouldn't have been sent to him. Tried for six weeks to get an appointment for an ekg and to give him the results of the urologist and to get scripts refilled only to be told today that maybe I should find a doctor that would be faster then him as his office is to busy. Absolute quack. Thank god I recorded my office visit and a complaint has been filed with Beaumont. Please dont send any of your family here as they will not get the care and treatment they deserve.

I agree with all of the negative comments, I wouldn’t really call him a physician. He has no bedside manner. He started yelling, “GOD DAMMIT” when his ear otoscope wasn’t working. I talked to him about my concerns and he did not follow up with checking my lymph nodes or my throat for strep. He just prescribed me a zpack and ear drops. Didn’t say much to me afterwards. He just opened the door and said, “you’re done.” Not a very communicative doctor or concerned one at that.

I filed a formal complaint with the medical board on Dr. Bettman. He is rude and talked to me a like a dog. He is obviously in the wrong field or work. He does not care about his patients at all. He needs to leave the profession.

I would not recommend this physician. Be does not keep up with standards of care, nor does he follow protocols, for example obtaining routine lab work.During patient visits, he talks badly about his colleagues, physicians,nurse practioners, and others in the medical and nursing field.

he is a great doctor who cares

Dr Bettman is terrible, he is fidgety and acts nervous which made me uncomfortable, and on top of that he jabbed me in my umbilical hernia surgery area after i showed him where i was cut, all that did was make my post surgey pain worse. In my opinion i think he is a little retarded!

Dr Bettman has a bad attitude. He's not happy with his career after spending all those years and cash to get through the process of becoming a doctor. He seem srather miserable.
