Dr. Elliott Hodges Dudley

I had 3 fillings and within 3 days two fell out, the third broke after a couple of months; and that isn't nearly the entire story. The visit itself took over 3 hours and the dentist and hygienist literally ran into each other 3 times. It was like watching an old 3 stooges in between the drilling and fillings. About 1/2 way through the procedure (not at the beginning or previous visit) Dr. Dudley says "...since you chose not to get crowns be aware that these fillings probably won't last long." Duh - had they told me that when they asked if I wanted crowns or fillings I would have picked crowns. Now that the filling has broken out I have 3/4 of a front tooth where he ground and ground on it instead of the small chipped area i went in to get fixed. As you can tell - I am NOT a happy customer!!! By the way, I'm 58 and have a life time of experience to base my review on. If you need any kind of major dental work please do yourself a favor and avoid this guy. On a positive… note, he does tell a lot of jokes while he's working on your teeth. (maybe he needs to be more serious about his work)

Dr Dudley helped me get over my fear of dentists. He's great at what he does, has terrific follow up and explains every procedure in detail before beginning.
