Dr. Elmer L Novis, MD

Dr. Novis was my family physician for many years before I moved out of the area. He was patient and genuinely caring. I even have referred family to him who continue to see him and sing his praises to this day! Now that I am back in the area, my only problem is that he does not accept my current insurance at this time. Other then that, I would recommend Dr. Novis to anyone!

It is SO hard to find a good doctor in this town. Especially someone who will take their time to address your questions and concerns. Dr. Novis has been my doctor for the past 30+ years and his staff is just as great as him. He has always given good health advice and has always been on point with diagnosis. Dr. Novis is such a caring doctor and made sure my overall health is always at its best. I don't know any other doctor who will go out of his way to go above and beyond to help other people with their health even if they are not his patients.

Dr Novis has been my physician for at least 20+ years. I have always appreciated he caring and expertise in my health. I feel my yearly physicals are thorough and his bedside manner is great! Very professional but down to earth and communicates well.

I went to Dr.Novis very sick with asthmatic bronchitis. He failed to diagnose my condition and prescribed me ear drops. I ended up going to another Dr. the same morning and receiving a proper diagnosis and correct treament.

Dr Novis didn't listen to me. He also prescribed something to me that had an ingredient I am allergic to. It was listed in my chart. Silly me got it filled without checking first. After it was filled I noticed that it contained a drug I can't take. He ordered blood work and has never called to tell me the results. He hasn't followed up with me to see if my medication is working. I called to inquire about all of this 3 weeks after my appt. Left my cell number. they finally called but left a message on my home number that I never check. All of my experiences with MMP are the same. What is wrong with this group of doctors?

very poor doctor. had no time to spend with me during my 3 visits, i got nothing for my $312

Makes me feel like i'm taking up his time.Doesn't seem interested in my concerns.Makes me feel that he thinks i'm a hypochondriac.

Dr. sure knows how to make someones concerns seem stupid. Will be looking for new dr immediatly.
