Dr. Elmina Lanier Summerall, MD

Dr. Summerall is a very smart, caring, and professional psychiatrist. I look forward to seeing her every time, she really makes everyone feel special. I have seen her for two years and she has helped me a lot. She is very down to earth and always follows up with her patients. Her staff is just as good. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I cannot thank Dr. Summerall enough for the compassionate and effective treatment i have received from her. Dr. Summerall’s extensive experience was evident as she provided treatment to me. I have always experienced a great deal of anxiety while seeking medical or psychiatric care but I was quickly put at ease.

Wow, these guys sound like they saw somebody else. She's been terrific with me. She certainly didn't overdose me at all, and I don't think I've ever had a doctor who listened as attentively and patiently.I've been to zillion dollar facilities that couldn't help at all, now I'm doing great with the help I've gotten from PolyTrauma. She's been great about following up and making sure different facets of support are in place, such as social workers.

It took a while to get an initial appointment, but no problems after that. She's done a great job in helping to resolve what seemed like intractable problems.Very patient, and patient-focused, and is helpfully candid. She doesn't treat patients like they're idiots, which can be a common problem in this field.
