Dr. Elona Dhrami, MD

Currently at the police academy and I found out I had to be pepper sprayed. Called Dr. Dhrami’s office at 9:45am to ask if it would be safe to do this (she had previously done a procedure on me). The woman at the desk told me she would speak to the doctor and call me right back. A couple of hours passed by so I called the office back at 11:12am. I was told them same message, saying they would speak to her and call me back. By 4:00pm I had not heard anything so I decided to make the trip from Valhalla to the Bronx in hopes to speak to her. Upon arrival, the woman at the desk texted Dr. Dhrami since she wasn't in the office. Dr. Dhrami asked the woman to put me on the phone. When I picked up the phone she began scolding me asking me what was wrong with me and stated that I had her secretaries harass her all day. She was rude and condescending and said that because I’m in the police academy I wanted to get what I wanted and that she wasn’t going to give it to me. She ended the call asking… me what is wrong with me and hung up on me. This is honestly the nice version of what she said to me because she was extremely rude. It’s sad because I really saw doctors as good people who are kind and helpful but this perception has now changed. Clearly the staff at this clinic aren’t communicating with each other. I’m currently going through a lot personally so having to be out down by another person really dropped my morale. Please avoid this woman at all costs. A real doctor wouldn’t behave like this .

Was at her Office with My Mother in- law . Wish I knew Dr. Dhrami before . She is amazing , professional , Heart of gold with her patients , very com never rushed to talk to us . I saw patient waiting for her very patiently bc she is amazing . Dr. Elona Dhrami thank you for everything you have done greatful that I found you .
