Dr. Elsa Brieno

The staff was not pleasant at all. On top of that, Brieno is extremely unresponsive. Check out the other reviews for proof of her lack of response. Brieno called my husband to inform him that we needed to take our child to the ER. He immediately called back for follow up questions up to 6x and Brieno did not respond at all. We had a question regarding the hospital she wanted us to go to for our ER visit. We had a bad experience with the one she recommended and wanted to go to a different one that we had a better experience at. Brieno explained that we had to go to the one she recommended because "due to COVID, the hospital our child was born at would not allow us to come in". Her saying that made absolutely 0 sense so we tried to call back for clarity. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. We followed our gut and didn't listen to Brieno's advice to go to her recommended ER. We took our child to the hospital of our preference and explained to the nurses & doctor team the situation and our… experience with Brieno & her staff. They were appalled with our experience w/ her and at the hospital she recommended! If you want a pediatrician who will advocate and show great care for your child, don't go to Dr. Brieno. If you want an experience at a pediatric clinic that won't be stressful, don't go to Dr. Brieno. We were extremely unhappy with our experience but fortunately received a better pediatrician recommendation elsewhere.

My daughter was a patient for 4 years and we always had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brieno herself. The staff however is extremely unprofessional. The staff is rude. And if you reach out to leave a message for the office manager to contact you it will not happen. They will try to charge you for well checks (which if you have instance are considered preventative with $0 copay).. and if they charge you and even your insurance contacts them good luck getting your money back. Also when trying to get your records GOOOOOD LUCK! It has take months! And lots of frustrating phone calls to Dr. Brieno’s office and the current pediatrician my children now see. I even offered to pay to have my records printed and I would pick them up to bring to the new pediatrician office. They couldn’t even give me an estimate on the cost (most offices charge a standard fee of $25). Now that the new pediatrician has received the records we have discovered my 4 year old was not given 4 vaccines that are… recommended for her age. No wonder they do not send records when requested. There are issues with what’s on them..

This office has the worst staff I have ever seen. They are so rude. It's like you are bothering them everytime you need them. This is hands down the worst doctors office and I would never recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. I feel like they don't even deserve the one star I gave them. I dont mean to be ugly but this is 100% the truth and how I feel about this place.

My son had a medical condition which was being treated by doctors in Dallas. We had to move to Austin and the pediatrician was not good at all. I specifically wanted a dr who would understand what we were going through and be thorough in treatment. I am happy to say that I found that in Dr Brieno. She is experienced, knowledgable and willing to put time & effort into her patients. She will be my son's dr for a long time :)

I am a new mom.... Have gone to two other doctors who I was not happy with.. in the way they treated us especially my baby... Dr. Brieno and staff are very nice, friendly... and they know what they are doing.... It was out first visit... but i can say that she will be our baby's doctor for a long time :) FOR SURE RECOMMEND!!!

dr. brieno is such a wonderful doctor! everytime i need an appt for my daughters i just call and if i need to they can get me in within a couple of hours which is so great. i would recommend and of my friends or family to her. shes takes her time and talks to my kids to make them comfortable i wouldnt not want any other dr besides her for my daughters.

Dr. Brieno is a very patient and osft spoken, my kids and I love her she has been the Doctor for 3 of my children and she is going to be the Doctor for my 4th as well! She is wonderful!!!
