Dr. Elwood F Williams, MD

My mother is a patient of Dr. Williams. I sometimes accompany her to her visits. Dr. Williams always takes time to listen to her concerns. My mother has been very pleased with Dr. Williams, as he has helped to resolve many of her medical issues and does so with concern and compassion. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pulmonary physician.

He is very kind but often cancels appointments at the last minute. I felt he was a good physician, but did not seem very interested in my concerns. He has a quiet demeanor so that may be the reason. I have been his patient for three years and due to my Medicare status was dropped suddenly without much notice. It was a sad and difficult thing to go through and now I have no idea who I will go to. If he hadn't wanted to take me on I just wish he had said "no" from the beginning. I did trust his wisdom and believe him to be a good man....I am just so deeply disappointed. I never really got to know his nurse but I did not often find her of much assistance.
