I would never trust this doctor as a doctor or just a person. The lack of care and empathy for my Mom was awful... The fact that good sam would employ some of the people that they do including this 'doctor' is an indication to stay away. My Mom had been continuously vomiting & I told him that I felt that they should have had it controlled by the fourth day & I would have thought the first day... He said, that the esophagus is a strong muscle and it is like vomiting when you are in Vegas! I was in shock, there is no empathy no care with this person, he turns his back to you while he's walking away, that is how he checked on my Mom... Well maybe one day this 'doctor' will experience the same suffering my Mom did with continuously vomiting and he will accept his Karma...

Dr. Cabebe made the difference between a potentially burdensome treatment experience and one that (besides the chemo) that was much more tolerable than I expected. The staff and the doc were and continue to be the best. Highly recommend. He's direct, pleasant and always has a smile. candy

First and far most I am writing this review for Dr. Cabebe. If I could give him no stars I would but in order to write a review you must put one star. Well to start off dr.cabebe was my mom's oncologist. . I definitely do not recommend anyone to have him as an oncologist. He is the worst doctor. . He diagnosed my mom with stage 4 lung cancer .. when he came in the room to give us the bad news he tells my mom ( you have stage 4 lung cancer ok I am not going to sugar coat it for you ) my mom was devastated after that ..he gave my mom no hope what so ever .. and second .. every time we went in for an appointment his nurse practicioner was the one that would read and study my mom's case not the doctor ... AND third he never let us ask questions or even answer the ones we did have ..too make a long story short we changed oncologist and we are very happy with her new doctor she is great and has giving my mom hope ... beware dr.cabebe

I owe my life and the years I have with my family to Dr. Cabebe. He has been with me through four diagnoses of breast cancer. He not only provides the most top notch care available, contacts and stays on top of all expert opinions on my type of cancer, but he regularly demonstrates that he cares deeply for myself and my family. And my quality of life. I have and will continue to refer patients to him.

This place is awful. They over book the Drs schedules so that each patient is really being seen an hour after their appointment time (so if your appointment is at 9 plan to be seen at 10) there aren't enough chairs in the infusion rooms so don't be surprised if they make you sit in the library which is also used as the employee break room. If there's a problem the office managers don't respond in a timely manner. Also You will most likely be double billed.....Oh and try not to feel bad when you see how management treats employees like crap. Don't bother to believe these 5 star reviews people left .... Clearly they were posted just a few hours after this review because the Drs office asked them to leave a good review in hopes it will out number all the negatives. Don't go to VMOC unless you want the worst care possible!

Dr Cabebe is weak with strong-arm tactics. I resented his approach and lack of communication. I mean it's only my life at stake, right? He strongly recommended a biopsy listed by my insurance as 'experimental', so yeah, couldn't have it. His staff is ok, but they couldn't get my records to a new oncologist in a timely form without me harassing them endlessesly. This is a BAD doctor. If you want to live, try someone else!

He asked my 70yo mother to write a good review for them. First, she's in her 70's and can't even use a computer. Second, she wouldn't write a good review for a doctor that provided tarrible treatment! Horrible! Bad dr in a badly run office.

Dr Cabebe did not communicate to us what the plan was, explain blood tests and what the results may or may not mean... we ended up going elsewhere for answers.

Referred to Dr Cabebe almost a year ago. Still no diagnosis. Doesn't return calls. Ridiculous wait times in office only to have dr cabebe rush in and out. No communication skills. No empathy. Seems like the type of dr you might find in a bad alley in Manilla. And that's where he belongs, in my opinion.

He uses strong-arm tactics to bully patient, or he ignore your calls. Wait an hour past apt to be seen for just a few minutes. More of a thug than a doctor. If you care about your health, go see someone else!
