Elza Christian, MD

Elza Christian, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric hospitalist caring for children from birth through age 18. Dr. Christian provides child-centered, evidence-based care that supports each child’s physical, emotional and developmental well-being while working closely with families and caregivers. She focuses on prevention, clear communication and long-term trust, and she enjoys caring for children with medical complexities. Dr. Christian has many years of experience in pediatrics, including hospital-based care, outpatient pediatrics, academic medicine, clinical education and medical writing. Her background also includes pediatric hospitalist roles with Tufts Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital and University of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. Dr. Christian earned her Doctor of Medicine from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in the Cayman Islands and completed her pediatric residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, …New York. She also earned a Master of Business Administration in Health Information Systems from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Dr. Christian is fluent in English and Russian. Outside of medicine, Dr. Christian enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling and reading.
