So I arrive for my appt at 3 and 1.5 hours later I am in the lobby still waiting! He takes someone that is visible to him from the back without checking who is next. Then sees a vendor before patients! Ridiculous!!

Dr Wassif is not only a fine example in the field of Pain Management he is also an honest,caring human being.

Have just begun back pain management and been pleased to date and look forward after additional treatments to be relieved of pain for the first time in over seven years. Dr wasif clearly describes, after reviewing your mri, what treatment is necessary and proceeds with this treatment plan. He is an efficient dr. And I believe you can trust him.

I've suffered from a football back injury for over 25 years. Now also from the pain of adult Scoliosis. But after seeing Dr. Wasif I'm pain free for the first time in all those years. His care, concern, knowledge and "bedside manners" are also the best I've ever experienced.

This provider sets a plan to take care of your painful condition. Unlike most paint management doctors were they see you once at the beginning and their nurses take over your health. This is a highly trained and experienced doctor cares about, understands and respects your situation. Thoroughly studies your MRI, your past medical history and treatments and explains and advises you of all the options that are available for you to lead a quality healthy pain free life. His entire staff are trained to provide the quality service that is demanded and requires by doctor Wasif for his patients. I am 65 years of age, retired professional and I can tell the good folks when I meet them, Doctor Wasif is good folks he will take care of you as he is taking care of me.

Unfortunately, I can’t mention all the specific incidents of very unethical behavior without him identifying me and causing trouble with my new Dr. The demeanor Dr and front desk- so overly friendly that it drips with sweetness, which fooled me in the beginning but I soon discovered the insincerity the first time I had an issue with the office that required them to follow through and prove their pretense of kindness and concern would be reflected in their behavior and actions taken. My complaints are mostly related to his unethical behavior that is financially motivated 100%. Everything he does is to make as much money as possible and has very very little to do with helping patients. Maybe nothing to do with it. He actually questioned me about how much money I received from disability and any other possible sources of income and proceeded to calculate out how many injections he thought I could pay for and if I could proceed with a very expensive implant I could not afford. I am so… embarrassed that I actually gave him that personal information about my finances but I was so taken aback and felt very pressured. He would schedule 2 injections during one month and say it didn’t matter if I didn’t know then where I would need an injection. I could just come in that day and decide which part of my body needed the injection. That’s like scheduling surgery without needing anything operated on at the time you schedule it. The “sedation” you are given for injections is so insufficient that I question what I was actually given because I was still extremely nervous and the pain from the procedure only made it worse. This is just a tiny bit of the questionable experiences I had with Wasiff. I told my primary Dr about the really shady stuff that had happened. Pcp was shocked at how unethical Wasiff’s practice is and immediately changed my pain Dr. I don’t believe my pcp plans on referring any more patients to him. The office is nice and if no other pain Dr will take you I guess he is an option. He actually told me that I would have a drug screen a month ahead of it so I guess he might be a good choice for some but for the legitimate patients: please consider a different Dr. Behind the illusion of a compassion that the Dr and front desk portray is a just greed and there is absolutely no concern for patient well-being. Their demeanor is dripping with completely artificial friendliness and concern that only serves to deceive people and hide a very unethical practice. The good reviews here have to be from new patients who have not yet discovered how fake the friendliness is. A good Dr would not hold your rxs ransom in order to pressure you to suddenly come up with a bunch of $ you were given zero notice you would have to pay. Wouldn’t accept half now & rest in one week on payday. I was forced to return home in order to come up with money and schedule another appointment if I wanted my rxs. He knows how unsafe it is to abruptly stop opioids but still refused to give me rxs unless I could come up with this $. Don’t be surprised when you discover he gave you a rx that you can’t fill and you are told you have to make another appointment in order to discuss the problem. He pushes every expensive procedure he feels like he can get you to undergo regardless of your concerns and inability to afford them. Then you’re told you pay upfront except one small exception where you are given 2 months to come up with $500. I wish I could list all of the repulsive things I went through with him but as I said. I don’t want repercussions and that happened to me once with a Dr who filled in for my primary. Very bad repercussions. This pain Dr would only be a good choice for someone who wants to be notified of upcoming drug tests or someone who no reputable Dr will accept. That person must have plenty of disposable income.
