Dr. Emad Hamdy Elbadawy, MD

Dr. E is the physician you maybe searching for if you want to see who still thinks outside of the box. He has strong critical thinking skills and doesn’t just stick to a one size fits all protocol. I have worked with him on and off for years, and he was my personal physician until I moved out of state. When my mom recently became disabled, we switched her PCP to Dr. Elbadawy because I knew he would treat her as an individual and not another “client” of the Cleveland Clinic. Unfortunately it is becoming harder to find providers who believe evidence based care means considering the evidence as guidance rather than the end all protocol for all patients. I genuinely believe his initial med school training being in another country (and health system) gives him a perspective that came sometimes be lost in the US health business. I also want to note his waiting room is full of patients of clearly different walks of life, and he treats them all as if they deserve quality care and kindness.… That said, he’s always been a bit of a “jumping bean,” and I could see how some patients may get the wrong idea. If you see him and you aren’t prepared with your questions or are getting way off topic, he will wrap things up. It does not mean you are not important or well cared for, it just means he values efficiency and respects people’s time as much as possible. He may not be for everyone, but he’s a great physician.

Anyone giving him 1 Star is full of you know what. Most likely a disgruntled former employee that needs to look in the mirror. I have been with him for 5 years and he has been nothing but exceptional.

The amount of disrespectful exhibited by this individual so-called doctor towards his patients, staff, and coworkers is unbelievable. He should not be employed. I do not recommend him at all.

My family was introduced to Dr. Elbadway at the hospital after my father's first stroke ten years ago. Dr. Elbadway provided excellent care for my father during his hospital stay and kept us highly informed. My entire family was so impressed with his knowledge, skill, patience and compassion that he has become the primary medical provider to my entire extended family. Dr. Elbadway treats my family as if we were his relatives. We are very thankful and blessed to have stumbled upon him. My father recently passed but we will always be grateful for the sensitivity and support of Dr. Elbadway who helped us through very difficult times.

I have only worked with the doctor in the nursing homes where I have been a resident. He and his nurse practitioners are always GREAT!

DR. Elbadawy is not only a caring , loving human being, he is a brilliant doctor. He searches to find help for his patients no matter what the challenge is. He puts his heart and soul into his work and should be rewarded for all the lives he has saved .

Dr. Elbadawy is the only doctor after years of wondering whats wrong with me that he is the one doctor who took the time to help me . He actually cares about his patients

In my opinion one of the best if not the best. Persaonable, NEVER rushes you along, Cares, Always there when I need him. In a class of his own. Takes excellent care of my father and myself...

Dr. E. always takes his time and listens to what I have to say. He is very kind. I no longer see him because i've moved but I have since sent my adult children to see him and they are very satisfied with him. He's a great person. I recomend him to anyone.
