Does not listen to you. talks over you. His way or the highway. Felt like woman are not his favorite people. I would never ever go back,

Very nice and caring even to my 91 y/o Mother. All he wants to do is get you out of pain.

I have been under pain mgmt care for 5+ yrs. I moved to Ohio seeking to a new doc since relocating. This doc was recommended from a pharmacist because he didn't like to prescribe main meds, he "wants to fix the problem". Which is my goal. Well, my first visit the office staff was extremely helpful, explained how the insurance works, answered all questions I had. The problem arose when I stepped in the exam room first with the "nurse" who asked me 1,000 questions on my history then with the doctor. He didn't touch me, didn't look at my back, didn't review my records I brought in, didn't ask my history nothing!! The first sentence out of his mouth was "I will tell you right now, if you are looking for a doc to prescribe the same meds you are on currently, you need to look elsewhere." Seriously! My first thought was no doc, I am NOT a drug addict and I am not looking for drugs from you. I was hurt and felt ashamed for hurting. Its been months since I was in that office and I… still cannot believe he didn't even examine. I wish I would have read his reviews before I wasted my money being I didn't have insurance yet so this was out of my pocket. If I was looking for someone to humiliate me, this would have been the perfect place but I wasn't. I was very honest and open about what I have been feeling health-wise and I paid good money to feel like a drug addict by the time I left. I would not recommend this doctor unless you want to cry and feel horrible about yourself. He was hard to understand, he didn't want to look at me nor did he want to listen to anything I had to say yet I was the patient and have been living this way for 5+ years, I know what hurts on me, obviously he didn't care. He cut me off when I did try to talk and he treated the front office staff the same way he treated me....very rudely! Maybe he has seen alot of pill seekers but no need to take it out on the patients that are legit!

Very bad bed side manner. Quick to accuse you of this not done. GO ELSEWHERE!!

This physician is incompetent to do his JOB. He cut my pain meds (a non-narcotic) regulated prescription in 1/2 and then tried to put me on narcotics. I have developed many more medical conditions over the past few years and so he increased my Ibuprofen which has recently put me into an ER with a bleeding ulcer. He also increased the pain series blocks in my spine by 4X compared to the last TWO Anesthesiologist's that had me in their care. There have been several times I called his office to get my medicine and it was not called in before a weekend and he then refuses to fill whatever he prescribes sometimes for a week at a time (I've had this personal experience twice). My back hurts so bad from several injuries that it even hurts to breath. I will find another pain management doctor as this man is not competent to take care of a dog! I will be making a formal medical board complaint today as the staff ignore requests from patients as they must be on a regular vacation… because they refuse to fill medicines at the due date.

Dr. McKhail is my life savor when I have pain, in my back and knees.,I would and have recommended him to many people. He is so gentle and I like it that he uses fluoroscope injecting me knees and not doing it blind. Very little pain!! I was recommended to see him by a back surgeon.

Professional office. The Physician was very kind and took the time to explain my condition and showed me my x rays in detail. My only disappointment was that in the procedure I had done, (shots in my neck), I was not told what to expect afterwards, and even though I did not have anesthesia, my legs felt very wobbly and numb when I left the office, and I had to ask what was happening. I think they thought that I had had this procedure before. All in all, I was very pleased with my outcome.

Do not take their time to explain procedure and do not explain post procedure care... most nurses are either over worked or just don't want spend time with the patient
