Dr. Emilia Ann Ploplys, MD

What can be said in words except that Dr. Ploplys is a amazing doctor and made me feel that she cared and has great pride in her work. I had to have a reconstructive surgery and she spent the amount of time needed in the operating room to achieve the results she was happy with. The aftercare has been amazing. Dr. Ploplys does take pride in her work. I have to give her a big thank you for being amazing.

I had a mini face lift and under eye work done. Everything was explained well to me. Dr Emilia and nurses were so nice to deal with. You don’t feel like you’re there for a medical procedure. I have had three procedures and felt everything could not have been handled better!!!

Everyone was easy to work with and very efficient.

Emilia Ploplys, MD biopsies and then did the plastic surgery to put me back together after and MOHs procedure was done.

The overall experience with the doctor was great. However, Vianna, the employee who submits paperwork to the insurance was hard to work with. It took numerous phone calls to get her to submit the paperwork. In addition, she rarely returned my phone calls. The whole process was very frustrating.

Getting an appointment was quick. She is a REALLY lovely lady with a great sense of humor, but the office humor was a bit too unprofessional. My first surgery was flawed, and the "fix" that should have taken 6 weeks, then 6 months, took a year to fix, and 2 months just to get an appointment. Now that it is healed I can see it isn't right either, but it IS far better than before. One thing she said I wouldn't need was actually needed and left my body looking a little abnormal, but I neither want to go back to her for my breast augmentation, nor to repair the first anymore. Overall, WONDERFUL lady, good to average office, so-so surgeon.

I saw Dr. Ploplys after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She explained my options and reconstruction very thoroughly and thoughtfully. Her work has made my reconstruction that much less stressful. She is a perfectionist and really cared about my questions and opinions. Her nurses are wonderful.
