Dr. Emily Casey has always been super helpful in providing as much information as I need about treating my chronic knee pain. She has also been very caring in making sure that I get the shots necessary that is in alignment with what is required for insurance, but is helpful for me as the patient, too. She truly listens to me and I feel like I'm in the best hands. Surgery is inevitable, and we both know it, but Dr. Casey helps prepare me for all steps needed to prevent surgery, if at all possible. I really appreciate her dedication to her patients and putting their needs first. I highly recommend her to anyone needing non-surgical orthopedic treatment!

One of the best at diagnosing possible causes of symptoms in one office visit and providing clear, understandable, logical explanations that I have ever encountered. Outstanding professionalism, bed side manner and common courtesy. After visiting another doctor for an evaluation of my sons back pain and being told “oh he’s just young and probably strained something. Give it a few weeks and if it doesn’t get better check back with us”, I immediately scheduled an appt for him with Dr Casey. In one office visit, after doing a thorough evaluation, we were told what she suspected it to be. A fractured vertebrae. This was confirmed by subsequent contrast mri. I have seen Dr Casey myself for a pain that turned out to be something orthopedics don’t treat. However she had her team forward her evaluation on to my primary care and ordered the additional tests I would need for him to confirm the diagnosis. So I had the results my primary care needed. As a result it saved me a visit to my… primary care and I received relief quicker as a result. Which also saved me time off from work and another copay. And she’s a Birmingham native working for the most prestigious orthopedic center in the area. One of the best in her field.
