Dr. Emily Bernstein, MD

Emily Bernstein, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist with 2 decades of experience treating adults (18+). She has extensive experience treating a variety of issues includingmood disorders such as:

•  Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and 

• Bipolar Disorder (BPAD)

• Anxiety Disorders

• PTSD  

• ADHD

She has expertise in working with pre-partum, pregnant and post-partum women, having served as the Head of Crozer Medical Center’s Women’s Behavioral Health program. She currently serves as the Director of Women’s Mental Health At Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates. 

She is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and she also completed her Psychiatric Residency at The University of Pennsylvania as well. She provides medication management as well as psychotherapy via both telehealth and in-office appointments, at our Paoli, PA location. Telehealth visits are available for patients living throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York. 

…Dr. Bernstein provides medication management for Anxiety disorders (such as Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorder, PTSD and Social Phobia), Mood Disorders (such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Affective Disorder (BPAD Types 1 and 2), Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Postpartum Depression, Cyclothymia and Persistent Depressive Disorder, and Attention Deficit Disorders (such as Adult ADHD). 

In addition to having a focus on Women’s Mental Health, Dr. Bernstein treats many college, graduate students and adults, struggling with various mental health conditions. 

Dr. Bernstein offers in-office and virtual Telehealth Psychiatric appointments, at our office in Paoli, PA on the Main Line of Philadelphia. She can also provide Anxiety Treatment, Depression Treatment, Mood Disorder Treatment and ADHD Treatment and Medication Management to individuals throughout all of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware.
