Dr. Emily Jane Doyle, MD

Dr. Doyle was very patient and kind in my time of need. She thoughtfully listened and I feel truly wants the best for her patients. She was also the only psychiatrist I ever had that took the time to communicate with my psychotherapist in order to gain a better perspective on what was going on with my mental health and is how it should be and was greatly appreciated. Cannot recommend her enough.

I saw Dr. Doyle 7 times over a 2 month period for depression related to the death of a close relative. Counseling sessions always felt rushed and she seemed disinterested in what I was saying most of the time. Often times, she would completely ignore my comments and proceed to ask a completely unrelated question as if she were following a prearranged chart of questions. Dr. Doyle was the first psychiatrist I visited, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I subsequently found another doctor, who is infinitely better. I would say, if anything, Dr. Doyle exacerbated my depression. My new psychiatrist also seemed upset by the medication Dr. Doyle prescribed, though he didn't say so in so many words.Bottom line is I do not recommend Dr. Emily Doyle.
