Dr. Emily C. Essert, DO

I had the worst experience with this DO. I used to see this DO twice a year. She was always in rush, never took time to explain anything to me. The only time she was nice was when she wanted to push meds on me that I did even need. The last time she did not even discuss the potential risks and side effects of the med that she provided me in her office, which made me so sick. Choosing her as my PCP was the biggest mistake of my life. I wish I never seen her, but I guess it was a curse for me.

To me she is not a doctor, she is a quack. She dismissed all my concerns misdiagnosed me and gave me the wrong med, which made me so sick , and I do not know if I will recover.

The only person who she listens is herself, she doesn’t care what patient thinks, and will interrupt the patient when asking questions, without any answer, at least she did that with me.I never felt connected with her due to the way she treated me.

She did so wrong to me, I don’t know if I will recover. Think more than twice if you want to be her patient

To me she the worst doctor that I ever had. Please think twice if you want to be her patient,

This DO des-troyes people’s life. She either doesn’t know anything,or she does not care. The way she treated me, I think she is both. Do not be her patient, find a MD doctor instead.

I would not recommend this DO. She is not thorough, in fact she is careless. Please ask for second opinion before being her parent, and whoever is her patient should be careful.

She is awful, God forbid you question her, you better find another doctor, because she will take revenge.

She asks patients to write review for her, that's all she cares. She is a DO not MD and she thinks that she specialized on everything and will not refer patient to a specialist, but because she "specialized" she makes the patient sicker. She would not refer me to a specialist, she gave me the wrong meds, and I have to search for specialist to fix what she did, at this day still I am sick. Don't be her patient period.
