I have been working with Dr. Emily Franks, MD since May 2019. In that time, she has taken me from diagnosis to complete remission TWICE!! Dr. Franks has a strong understanding of my disease, explains complex matters to me so I understand what my cancer is doing, and has the very BEST 'bedside manner' of any physician I have had at age 63. As well, Dr. Franks is resourceful, and a very strong advocate for her patient's treatment needs! This is important for navigating through the insurance process- which often makes the patient wait for medically necessary care. I have a cancer that is trying to be tricky, so Dr. Franks quickly referred me to OSU for a consult - which truly might be what saves my life! My husband and I hold the highest regard possible for Dr. Emily Franks, and in fact have already referred a possible patient to her for care. I unequivocally recommend her practice, her staff and the nursing staff at Kettering Cancer Center. Five Stars to the doctor who has thus… far healed me two times and has prepared me for a stem cell transplant! She's the real deal!

She is very good with patients and seems to be accurate in he diagnoses, and knows what treatments work best. Great personality!
