What makes this even more alarming is that within 48 hours of this encounter, I required an emergency spinal fusion on my lower back—clearly confirming that my pain was real, serious, and medically urgent. Her judgment was not only wrong, it was dangerous. There was no empathy, no meaningful examination, and no attempt to investigate the cause of my symptoms. The assumption made about me replaced medical reasoning, and the result was delayed care for a condition that required emergency surgery.
