EMILY ANNE GARBER

Emily A. Garber, RN, MSN, CPNP-PC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Goshen Physicians Pediatrics. She provides well-child care and health education, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Her previous experience in pediatric neurosurgery and neurology as a nurse practitioner and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as a registered nurse is an asset to her practice.{line break}Emily provides comprehensive medical care for pediatric patients, ages birth to 18 years old, including wellchild examinations that encompass age-appropriate developmental evaluation; anticipatory guidance; vaccinations; acute/illness visits involving evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. When appropriate, she makes referrals to specialists and prescribes medication.{line break}In 2012, Emily was featured in Dayton Children’s Medical Center’s quarterly publication, where she was recognized for her unique approach to managing the …diagnosis of a seizure and migraine patient. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
