Dr. Emily R Greenspan, MD

I have been going to Dr. Greenspan throughout my years in high school and college for acne problems (total ~7 years). At first she helped my acne with different topical creams which worked fine for around 2 years. When I started getting more acne on my face and back, I was still prescribed the same topical medicines. I switched between a few different kinds, because most of them would dry out my skin severely. After using Clindamycin Gel, I though that was the best I was able to get without experiencing the dryness. To my knowledge, all that I could have was these topical creams or go onto Accutane, which I knew was very severe and didn't want to use something like that. After 7 years and now having scars and plenty of dark marks on my back from acne, I decided to go see another Dermatologist. After explaining my situation to this new doctor, he said "Well the next logical step would be to try an antibiotic like Ampicillin." I have been on this new medicine for 6 weeks and I… have seen a dramatic improvement. I never thought I would have such approvement like this. I really wish Dr. Emily Greenspan would have known to take this "next logical step."

If I could, I would rate this doctor zero stars out of five. Her attitude is disgusting. She doesn't even attempt to appear as if she cares. Unlike most professionals in the medical field, Dr.Greenspan doesn't encourage questions at all; in fact, she gets annoyed by them. This is why the appointment took less than a few minutes. Her rudeness astonishes me. I will be sure to tell her all of this at my next appointment. After this I will be sure to switch my doctor.

For the past 20 years I have been visiting doctors clinic but this is the first time I have seen a doctor who was very rude,and lack a sense of professionalism.It's like she didn't even want to listen to anything I have to say to her.I would not recommend this doctor to any patient.
