Dr. Emily Adams Haly, MD

During the most difficult time in my life. I came in with no appointment and talked with Dr. Haly. She listened to my issues as well as offered advice on ways to help cope with things. I would recommend this doctor any day, any time to ANY ONE! I feel blessed having a doctor that isn't just here to punch the clock and earn the money. She actually cares about her patients!

Dr. Haly has been my doctor for a year now, here in Mount Pleasant. She is a part of a great staff that is truly caring towards their patients. She is very attentive towards any complaint I have had. From my ear infections, to my severe neck pain. She even personally called her Physician friend who specializes with the spine to see if he could see me ASAP. She gets things done, and gets to the bottom of the issue. I love being her patient. It's more than just a Doctor-patient relationship.

Best doctoring I had in over twenty five years.

I received a letter telling me Dr.Haly would no longer be with this practice. The letter led me to look at her reviews, because I thought I was the only one who had been abused as a patient. Not so! I am 70 years old and had never been treated with such cold aggressive anger. Dr.Haley actually said she did not have time to deal with my questions and that I was dismissed as her patient. Thankfully, my husband was in the examining room with me. He says he has never seen such a disconnect between situation and response as I received. I'm glad she's gone.

Horrible bed side manner. Didn't listen to concerns. Didn't seem to care at what I was addressing. Very rude as a doctor. Came into the room with a chip on her shoulder, as I was a new patient there was no need for this. I HIGHLY recommend not going to this doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. Haly

As a new patient I went to Dr. Haly to have my eye (infection) examined and to get have a routine screening for medication. The Dr. spent very little time actually talking with me to get to know me as a new client and seemed more inclined to push her own agenda and get me out the door quickly. The diagnostic testing equipment was malfunctioning and I was diagnosed as having high blood pressure (by an assistant who didn't bother to manually re-take it) which in turn prompted another expensive test rather than looking at my full medical history and seeing there was no history of high BP. They automatically scheduled me for a follow up apt at a Roper cardiologist and didn't bother to try to monitor the situation or look at an extensive client history chart that showed no previous problems. I promptly realized they were Roper affiliated and were 'pushing' a new Cardiology facility and canceled that apt. Within less than a month I saw another Dr. and had a full physical with no high BP… or other health problems to speak of. My initial eye infection was completely blown off and practically disregarded. Furthermore the billing assistance they claim to offer is non-existant and I was billed for the full amount despite their advertisements for discounts for clients with high deductibles and/or no insurance. I would not go back to this Dr or practice again. It's too bad they lost a potential new client before the end of the 1st apt. and that their customer service is so horrible that they don't even bother to try to remedy problems!

I started seeing Dr.Haly about 3 yrs ago n I came in with a diabetes crisis loss of vision very upset because of it but she made me feel a sense of security that we would get through this together she also got my blood pressure lowered n being we are opposite sex I can b free with conversation she is great at keeping it real as far what's not right to consume! Thnx Doc

Dr. haly was rude, condescending and abused her authority as a doctor. Mshe tried to intimidate me verbally and when I stood up for myself and my health she became enraged and nasty.

Dr. Haly is argumentative and very adversarial. I have been in her office twice, and due to her lack of bedside manner and manners in general I will not be returning. She had a very flippant attitude towards my health and tolerance of certain medications. I'm sorry I stepped foot into this office, and will absolutely leave reviews elsewhere. It is horrifying how some doctors feel entitled to behave anyway they like just because they went to medical school. The patient, no matter what their medical issues are deserve respect and kindness.
