Dr. Emily Suzanne Hyatt, DO

My husband was in so much pain and had appendicitis. During the abdominal test, he reminded her how sensitive he was and would burst into tears if touched there. He gently raised his hand to prevent her from touching there and she immediately told him to stop touching her. The doctor rudely said “you need to relax, I’m not even touching you.” Such a rude doctor and terrible patient care. She should not be in the medical field if this is how she treats patients. On top of that, she was my father in laws doctor a few months ago as well. She did not give him enough anesthesia and then delivered a shocked. He felt everything. Worst experience of this life.

Was seen by her for about 2-4 minutes, was short and rude. She made me feel like I was just there bothering her. Short and snippy on responses back you me, I felt like I should have gone to medical school first. For a total of 20 minutes there, I was billed just under $2,900.

Emily Hayatt discharged me prematurely. I was given pain med to numb the pain till discharged, then was hanging dry. Her nurse refused to have me see her till I check in again (another highly priced co payment). Very disappointed with the poor quality care I received. It is all about generating revenue with her than the well being of her patient.

I was just a waste of time, two minutes was all she needed. The nurse was probably the worse I ever had, she down graded me, went over my visits to basically tell me I'm nut's but never looked at the details, like one visit they found I had kidney cancer, other time I had a J-T infection.... It was just a joke.

Dr. Hyatt should take more time to actually listen to her patients instead of jumping straight to her conclusion. She talked to me like I was wasting her time and now I don’t feel comfortable about going to the ER ever again. I was scared and had nobody. She made me feel ridiculous. Gave me two minutes of her time, didn’t let me speak, and very disconnected. Bedside manors were little to none. I hope she sees this one day, to be more aware of how she makes patients feel.

Efficient, timely, great communicator--solicits input, listens, then responds in effective manner , easy with whom to interact,, kept advise of progress and test results. Gave good sense of confidence.

Efficient and detached. Answers questions when asked but lacks good bedside manner. Since I was not a life or death situation, I suspect she thought I was wasting her time.
