Emily was inspired to become a nurse practitioner because of her desire to ensure every patient feels listened to and empowered. She enjoys building trust and getting to know her patients. As a primary care provider, Emily cares for patients with all sorts of health needs. However, she has a special interest in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, health promotion and prevention. In her free time, Emily enjoys fishing, hiking, kayaking and riding ATVs with her family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, son and lovable Bernese Mountain dog.My favorite part of my job is truly getting to know my patients—who they are, where they come from and what is important to them. Together, we will set goals and develop a plan that best meets their individual healthcare needs
