always cancels appointments, and the to reschedule your appointment is always weeks to months out. i would not recommend. this provider unless you don't want to get the help you need.

I first began seeing Dr. Emily Rademacher when I was extremely depressed and anxious due to a drug interaction. It took several months to get in to see a psychiatrist but I feel my wait was not as long due to seeing a counselor at Bellin. I believe the counselor shared my condition and helped to expedite an appointment with a psychiatrist. I have been a patient at the Bellin Psychiaty group off and on since college and have had three other psychiatrists over the years for depression and anxiety. Dr. Rademacher is hands down the best provider I’ve seen for my mental health needs and rates as one of the top providers I’ve seen in my lifetime. If she wasn’t my doctor I would very much want for her to be my friend. I was an absolute mess and in severe depression and had horrible anxiety when I began seeing Dr. Rademacher and I never once felt she judged my situation which I was very sensitive about having had it caused from a drug interaction. She was engaging, supportive, and I feel… she very much cared for me unlike the prior psychiatrist I saw at Bellin before I requested to transfer care to her. There were many difficult appointments during that time period where we tried medication after medication trying to find the right combination to resolve my depression and chemical imbalance and also treat the crippling anxiety. Dr. Rademacher was always very understanding and cared about my experiences with medications and was willing to try others if I had an issue or side effects. Additionally, I had researched about genetic testing to determine what medications are best metabolized and effective based on ones DNA and brought this concept up with Dr. Rademacher and she was more than happy to order the testing and I believe my results helped her guide me to efficacious medications that finally worked with my genetics and ultimately helped to resolve my severe depression and anxiety. Most early appointments I would have my husband attend and many times had to bring my children and she was always accommodating to my entire family. She also valued the insight my husband was able to provide, especially when I was a shell of the person I am today. I truly owe much of my happiness to Dr. Rademacher as not only did she walk hand and hand with me on my journey to good mental health, I truly believe she cared about my well being and was one of my biggest cheer leaders in my crawling out of the hole depression is. The one negative I have is not in any way attributed to Dr. Rademacher as a provider, but more so to the mental health community in general in the Green Bay Area. Sadly, the lack of psychiatrists in the area and the huge caseload of patients these providers see as patients results in an extremely long wait to see a psychiatrist. I understand that mental health triage occurs as providers also need to see critical psychiatric inpatients as well as their regular caseloads, but the wait in this area is much too long for those blessed not to be inpatient but still in need of treatment. My only hope is that the time period for those needing care decreases and that they are able to make the wait to see such a wonderful psychiatrist.

She took the time necessary to get to know me as a person and my brain chemistry to prescribe the medications that would best treat my condition. She also counseled me, sometimes at great length, when I was struggling to insure medication and treatment compliance. She was the best and most influential psychiatrist I ever had. I would highly recommend Dr. Rademacher to anyone.

I have had anxiety my whole life, and she "magically" cured it in one visit. My former Dr left the practice so I was sent to her. She removed anxiety from my diagnosis, yet still prescribes Xanax.
