Emily Saugen has been practicing as a physical therapist since 2013, after graduating from Concordia University. Her career began in Lansing, MI, where she specialized in treating patients with brain and spinal cord injuries, post-stroke rehabilitation, concussions, and various orthopedic injuries. During this time, Emily worked closely with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, which included physicians, occupational therapists (OTs), speech-language pathologists (SLPs), psychologists, orthotists, and assistive technology professionals, gaining valuable experience in comprehensive patient care.After relocating to Wisconsin with her husband, Emily continued her career with the Marshfield Clinic, where she worked in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic.
