Emily Schmitt, DNP, FNP-C, is an interventional radiology nurse practitioner with the UP Health System - Marquette Heart & Vascular Center. An Upper Peninsula native, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan and, following school, worked as a registered nurse in the Family Birthing Center and Emergency Department at UP Health System - Marquette. Emily then decided to further her medical education by earning her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.Prior to rejoining UP Health System, Emily worked as a nurse practitioner in Wasilla, AK, as well as Suttons Bay, MI.
