Her open and easy communication style both engages and educates her patients, while her sensitivity and genuine caring help even the most anxious of patients to feel at ease.Dr. Emily remains committed to keeping up-to-date with the constantly evolving dental profession. For this reason, she routinely attends continuing education classes to learn about the most current technology, materials, and treatment options available to her patients. She is a graduate of The Dawson Academy, which provides a foundation for the successful practice of complete, predictable dentistry. The Academy teaches the essential principles and skills for complete care with primary concentrations in dental occlusion (the bite), the temporomandibular joints (TMJs) and comprehensive esthetic restorative dentistry.In addition, as an active member of a local dental association and study clubs, she meets with …other like-minded practitioners and specialists to discuss new techniques and challenges in the profession in order to maintain the highest level of competency.Dr. Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Albion College, and Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Schwartz is an active member of the Genesee District Dental Society, the Michigan Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Michigan Dental Association Committee on the New Dentist where she helps students and new graduates alike make the transition into the dental profession. She has also been a part-time faculty member in the Dental Hygiene Clinic at Mott Community College.
