Dr. Emily Lorraine Sedgwick, MD

Dr. Sedgwick's goal is to hurry you through. Due to her lack of comparing my mammogram I had done to previous one/s she jumped to conclusions on a small cyst that she herself had already biopsied 7 years before & would NOT listen to me when I asked her if that wasn't the same place that appeared on the 7 previous scans she had done. She just ran me back to get more radiation doing several extra mammograms & then literally pushing me into an exam room to do an ultrasound while the whole time I was calmly asking her if that wasn't the same place that had been there for many years. Afterwards, she didn't even apologize, but just rushed out! Needless to say I now have my mammograms done at St. Luke's Women's Center, which has been a huge improvement & regained my confidence! Their head of radiology is Dr. Huynh who's an amazing, compassionate doctor with skilled knowledge & attention to details. No surprise that he has been awarded many awards over the years including "Americas Top… Doctors Award" for many years in a row!

wonderful person and Dr...gave clarity to a confusing situation as a 3rd opinion...fortunately not serious! Her caring and honesty has me switching to her as my new radiologist.

Dr. Emily Sedgwick was very knowledgable, answered my questions, and was calm and skilled in discussing the results of my mammogram. She even phoned to follow up. She shows concern for and dedication to her patients.
