Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I have wanted to work in the medical field as long I can remember. I am fascinated by how perfectly God designed the human body, and love learning about how everything works together. Being a PA allows me to combine my passions for learning and healthcare with my desire to serve my community. I chose family medicine because it allows me to know and build relationships with each of my patients.What I want my patients to know about me:I am passionate about preventative medicine. I believe that a healthy lifestyle is a key part of medicine. I want to encourage my patients to take control of their own health with the choices that they make each day. I also believe that each patient should be seen and treated as an individual. I strive to care for each patient like I would my own family member.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy doing anything with family and friends! I love to be outdoors - hiking, kayaking or walking my golden …retriever. I also play the guitar and mandolin, and enjoy being part of my church worship team.
