Dr. Vigour is originally from Winona, Mississippi. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts and went on to receive her medical degree at the University Of Mississippi School Of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency through the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center where she worked at the Children's Hospital of New Orleans, Charity Hospital and University Hospital. Dr. Vigour opened Vigour Pediatrics in October 2015 after working on the West Bank for 8 years. She is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

My step-daughter was a former patient of Dr. Vigor's office for years and we never had any problems until her last visit. Upon her last visit the physician decided to ask about illegal substances in my home. I have never been in trouble with anything but then I realized ok, my stepdaughter is white and I am black. Racism does not have a place in healthcare. If you are wondering why, we have never had this question before and she was a patient from 4 years old until 16 years old.

Horrible!!! She misdiagnosed my baby. My baby had diarrhea for 3 days, I called her she said it was only a virus, 4 days later same symptoms took him in the office she said the same thing a virus, but I told her my child was still pain with his stomach. Took him to Children's MY CHILD HAS A PARAISTE!! SHE NEVER ONCE TOOK LABS OR A STOOL SPECIMEN. I WILL NEVER EVER RECCOMMEN HER TO ANY ONE!!! FRONT DESK STAFF INCOMPETENT NEVER GIVES THE NURSE/DOC MESSAGES. or they lie and say they didn't get them!!

Dr Vigour is absolutely the best she is so thoughtful courteous sincere and genuinely cares I completely recommend her to anyone that may be seeking a new pediatrician!

I love her! I am never afraid to ask a question with her! She is also excellent with my munchkin! My daughter actually goes to her!

She has been my daughters doctor since she was born! I could not have picked a better doctor! She spends one on one time with us and treats my daughter like family! We love Dr. Vigour! Even though we didnt get along with the staff she was worth it!
