Dr. Emily Caroline Vinzant, MD

I went to Dr. Vinzant for years before she moved to this new location. Not impressed. There was a long wait and I was told the Dr. Was running behind schedule. Dr.Vinzant came in, I told her about severe knee pain I was having. She said probably arthritis and we can do injections. Then talked about my A1C is still high so she maxed out my 3 diabetes meds and told me to make an appt for her and another person. She was gone in less than 10 mins. My blood work was in Nov. 2017. Feb. 2018 I get a call from the nurse saying my insurance company calls and is requesting I be put on meds for my high cholesterol. Then tells me my liver enzymes are high. She asked if I was taken a lot of acetaminophen. I said yes for knee pain. Nurse told me to stop and take Motrin instead. Maybe something should have been done when I said I had pain. Dr Vinzant was so much better before this move. May be time to look for another Dr.

Love Dr. Vinzant, she gets to know me and my son on a personal level and takes time to understand and address our concerns. She is a great doctor that I would refer to anyone!

Very professional, informative, caring and welcoming. She explained my diagnosis clearly and helped me understand the treatment of choice. Although her office was busy, she took time for me which I appreciated.

Just terrible. Could barely ever get an appointment with her because she would send us to her nurse practitioner. Didn't really seem to ever care. Dressed quite inappropriate. Not a good doctor.
