Dr. Emily De Los Angeles Vives, MD

It is very hard to make an appointment due to they don't answer the phones. Their answering service will not take messages. The last time I went they forgot to give me the referrals to the specialists, and did not put the number of refills on my prescriptions. One time they called me for an appt, I went in, and they left me in the examining room for over an hour waiting. She sent me for X-Rays, I went, and they never called me with the results or a prescription for the problem. I think they went to lunch and forgot I was there. She seems like a nice lady, but I did not feel like they were very attentive.

Very nice and very clean office. Everyone courteous and kind and professional Doctor right on point, excellent experience.

If we could give this lady a review of less than one star we would. If you notice, the awards stated she has received are over 5 years ago, all of them. They never answer their phone. They don’t return calls. The are not affiliated with any hospital, no wonder. They do to want you to leave requests for appointments nor refills with their answering service. She does not give you follow-up appointments. To obtain an appointment, You have to call thousands of times to see if someone will ever answer their phones. We were told by their nurse that they did not have any personnel to answer their phones when we complained about this matter. Overall, we do not recommend this doctor. Stay away.

“I am writing to thank your entire staff for the excellent care received during my visit to your office Today 3.14.19. Entering this morning I was experiencing what was thought to be the flu for close to 6 days of our annual Orlando vacation. My wonderful wife of 36 years says it’s the sickest she’s ever seen me (sorry for shaving and wearing socks with my sandals!) Your diagnosis and treatment regimen for pneumonia enabled us to make our flight home the next day (which when walking into your office that morning seemed highly unlikely. Starting with the courteous receptionist Cris when first walking in today, each staff member (blood work nurse, Valerie referral girl, and others) presented themselves in a positive, professional manner. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the waiting room and examination rooms. You all did a thorough job, and although I felt lousy at the time, it was apparent you all worked well together. A special thanks to the doctor Emily Vives for taking extra… time to methodically and accurately diagnose the problem as pneumonia. I was feeling so much better within 24 hours taking the antibiotic!”

Prior to coming here I had been in and out of the ER multiple times. I finally decided to go to a Family practice to figure out what was wrong with me. I made an appointment, and within two days I was seen by Dr. Vives. I waited for about 10 minutes in the office before I was seen by a really friendly nurse, and even better doctor. My experience was nothing short of excellence. Unfortunately I had to return for another condition just a few days later. I called at 8:20am and was seen at 9am the same day! I waited for about 5 minutes and was seen by the great lab tech and nurse. I honestly actually enjoyed my visit (who can say that about the doctor) and would highly recommend this facility to any one of my friends or family members.

My comment would take way to long to try and explain EVERYTHING.. Run as fast as you can. Unbelievable......All the bad reviews you can read in this website are all true plus much,much more. Good thing you checked...

No one answer the phone even when leaving voicemails, my father and I have been attempting to call to schedule an appointment and no one calls back. My father has been calling all week for a Spanish speaker. I’m very unsatisfied with the service and very unprofessional.

I was recommended by my mom about two years ago, but I don't like to change drs. What was I thinking ??. She is amazing I have been in pain for two years and I did my blood work and everything come out ok, but she listened to me and all my pain and explain how sometimes the blood work comes out negative but we know our body ect. I have arthritis and she gave me a shot and I have sleep for 8 hrs . Finally my point is she listens to you. You are not just $ she cares about you. Thank you again. M.T

Dr Vives has been my Doctor for at least 10 years and I have never had a bad experience. I've referred several co-workers who still go there. I highly recommend Dr Vives and staff for any of your medical issues.I want to make something clear, love the fact that I can look into my personal record with my e mail ,state of thee art system,very thorough with physical old school Doctor !

This doctor’s office had terrible service. Sat for an hour passed my appointment before work and the paperwork they want you to sign literally tells you not to talk to the doctor about any health related issues if you’re appearing for a physical (how sway?).. There were no visible certifications around the office, and I had to be told “Don’t worry, we won’t spam you if you give us your email address.” Needless to say, I walked out.
