Dr. Emily Lavoie Weis, MD

Her staff incorrectly insisted I was a new patient. It took three phone calls to convince them I wasn't. Eventually I got someone to check the records for the last day I was there. Once I got in, I was given bloodwork and told to take a different antihistamine. This was the only medical treatment offered for my throat swelling. I was then given a follow up appointment in 8 months. It took multiple phone calls to get rescheduled for an earlier appointment, first six months out, and then two months out. I asked my gp to refer me to a different allergist, who was able to see me in two weeks even though I'm a new patient, and who offered to do the same testing during the first visit that Dr Weis was going to wait 8 months to do. She's overbooked to the point of negligence. You will not receive medical care. Find any other doctor.

I cannot tell you enough good things about this Dr. I started seeing Dr Weis 2 1/2 years ago. For very complex hyperEsinophils that I have suffered with for over 5 years. I've been for a million tests and Drs I've even lost Drs over this and not once has she given up on me and finding the answer to my issues. Well it has paid off. If you want a Dr that will work for.you to fix your issues this is the one.
