I was forced to put one star to post this review!!! No stars!!!! Absolutely Appalling!!!! Mary is racist, rude, disrespectful, and is going to run the doctor’s practice into the ground!!!!! Mary doesn’t know the meaning of customer service or how to speak with people. I am not sure who hired her or how she is still employed. She will keep running new patients, existing patients, and prospective patients away single handedly. Check how many patients left this practice in just last six months. This is real. The boycott will continue. The reviews are terrible, below three stars!!! Get Mary out of there or have someone supervise her because she cannot be trusted to work correctly on her own. She cannot work independently and doesn’t have the brain capacity for the position she is in. Answer phone 101. Don’t be racist, especially when you are racist to a Caucasian you assume is African American. This was really eye catching. You never know who you are being rude to. You will lose your… job behind this. Maybe you are more suited for a McDonalds or 7-11 job, definitely not a customer service job as a dental office receptionist. There is an active boycott going if Mary is not removed, you will lose more patients!!! I can almost guarantee that Mary has left a sour take with many others because she doesn’t know how to speak to people. It is really sad because the doctor can’t possibly know how she continues to carry on and conduct herself in the office. She is single handedly running this practice into the ground. Yet they continue to allow her to after receiving complaints from Better Business Bureau, independent legal representation, and just frustrated people wanting adequate service. We will make sure everyone in Maryland does not make the mistake of waisting their time with this practice. We will make sure everyone in Maryland knows exactly the service they will not receive by going here. We will make sure Mary’s tirade does not continue un-checked and uncorrected. Terrible service, no way to provide feedback for issues, concerns or service received. If you receive bad service, treatment, etc. good luck getting this resolved! If you go here, you will face one of these issues mark my words, and when you do, good luck getting any type of follow up, correction, or resolved. You will not. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. This was a long review, but light must be shed and Mary must be held accountable for the constant abuse to the patients and public

If you're looking for a dentist who truly cares about her patients, Dr. Erkman is the one for you. She takes the time to get to know her patients, and she always goes the extra mile to make sure they're comfortable and informed about their treatment. I've been a patient of hers for years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
