Dr. Emmanuel Nganku Menga, MD

He was great before and during the surgery, then after that he became very cocky and less interested in hearing about my complaints, that almost a year later still persist and some things have gotten worse. Expect to deal with his NP more than him, which is fine because he ended up being more compassionate than him. I don't think he liked the fact that I told him that I feel that it was a FBS (failed back surgery). They happen, but I am seeking another opinion from a more experienced surgeon and who is more compassionate to people's care.

I am sure Dr. Menga is an excellent surgeon. I am sure he means well. But I have been struggling with arm weakness in the forearm and wrists. Pain in the neck and shoulders. My MRI and emg showed the issue in my neck. He said he would only operate if I had arm pain. As that is the only thing neck surgery is guaranteed to improve. I understand where he was coming from in someways. He only wants to operate when surgery is guaranteed 100% successful. It probably helps his and the hospitals statistics. I have a problem though and it’s not getting better. Also to have me do another X Ray when I just had one a month ago by his hospital made no sense and seemed like a way to bill the insurance for more. I do believe when he does perform a surgery he probably does do a good job. But his over conservatism causes people to live in needless pain

Doctor Menga is very professional, give me confidence and inspire me trust since day one. I fell and broke one of the rods in my back from a previous scoliosis surgery and he knew exactly what to do. He performed a surgery on my back and I'm like new again. He's very caring and listen to his patients very carefully to meet their needs. He's very knowledgeable. I recommend doctor Menga 100%.

Excellent surgeon!! Excellent knowledge of his expertise, skilled and thorough professional and a warm, caring human being. Without pain we owe Dr Menga a better future.

Dr. Menga has been one of the best physicians I have ever had. I had a very bad compound fracture of the fibula and tibia in my right leg. He was the trauma surgeon when I was bought into the hospital. Dr. Menga to repair my bones with plates and screws. He did a great job and I wouldn't be walking today , one year later, if it wasn't for him.
