Dr. Emmanuel Chukwunonso Onyeka, MD

I went to the ER in Fayetteville, Georgia. Dr Onyeka was my doctor. I had a common infection and needed antibiotics. Doctor Onyeka insisted on Cipro and said it was the right treatment for my situation. I immediately protested, citing that the drug was dangerous and I was terrified of taking it. He insisted, so I took it. Within 2 days I called the hospital complaining about joint and ligament pain, feeling tired and wanting to stop the medication. No response from Dr Onyeka. I wound up finishing the medication. That was at the beginning of the year. I have not gone a single day without stiffness, Joint pain & fatigue. Several conversations with the FDA brought sincere apologies, but they cannot remove the drug from the market. The FDA is aware of the dangers. I've also spoken with the medical board and filed complaints. Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital is denying responsibility. Everyone is aware of the dangers of the drug. I'm a patient, not a doctor. I trusted him. My life is changed.

This doctor has a absolutely terrible bedside manner and makes you feel worse leaving the ER than when you came in. I had the worse experience ever with this doctor. I’m so surprised he is even a doctor. He definitely needs to find another profession because he sucks caring for patients
