Dr. Emmanuel Adolphus Quaidoo, MD

Dr. Quaidoo did nothing short of change my life . In my humble opinion he is by far The Best in his field .

He is impatient and condescending and extremely unapproachable. The first medication he tried me on is known to cause pancreatitis and I have a history of pancreatitis. It isn't even the first-line medication for my condition! At my last ever visit with him, he yelled at me because I wasn't responding to treatment and he didn't ”know how to help you anymore.” When he saw me in tears he calmed down and apologized, but I will never step foot in his office again. My new rheumatologist immediately said,” that's not appropriate for someone with your history” when I mentioned the medication I was given by Dr. Quaidoo. I don't trust that he is up to date on current research and is too arrogant to admit it.

I waited 3 months for an appointment (I got lucky to get the 3 month). Treated for several things iver a year 3 diff. Doctors until sent to "Specialists " only to be dismissed, sent for labs and given the same course if treatment theother doctors yried. Why bother going to a specialist if he is going to go through what the others already did. I am disgusted with drs.

Terrible bed side manner. Cannot understand the thick accent. Seems uninterested in patients

Dr. Quaidoo is a very knowledgeable, friendly doctor. He spends time listening to your concerns and explains you diagnosis in a clear and concise manner.

I did not see the doctor had passion to his work and I did not feel that he cared about his patient. The waiting time was horribly long and the time with the doctor was not pleasant. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I waited six months to see this Rheumatologist, for diagnosis of a complex medical problem. I was well-organized and prepared, with full records and summaries. The experience was horrible; he refused to answer my questions, or listen to any of my concerns. This doctor was so resistant to any input from me that he turned his head away when I attempted to show him a diagnostic sign. He prodded so aggressively for "tender points" that I still had bruises a week later. He ended by giving me a lab requisition for basic tests he'd been provided current results for. His follow-up REPORT WAS FILLED WITH FACTUAL ERRORS. He clearly never looked at the extensive questionaire I was required to complete, prior to my appointment. A written complaint about his poor performance has been added to my medical file.

The doctor is kind but busy. I like him as he is also involved in cutting edge research. He takes time with his patients. Some times the wait time could be month too see him but he has a nurse., whom is supposed too work with patients for problems in between appointments. As she has started too establish her own patients for some reason, if your in serious shape and need her I might just schedule with another practitioner in the office.
