Dr. Ena Mahapatra

My first and last visit with Dr. Mahapatra as the entire visit, about 15 minutes, was spent with her interrogating me about drug use and diet. I get that this is Cook County, but I pay a lot for my monthly insurance and would actually like a doctor to listen to what I have to say instead of basically shushing me and telling me my turn to talk would come several months down the line. Not okay. I'll continue my search for a PCP elsewhere.

I have been the doctor's patient for over 2 years now, and have found her to be patient, understanding, caring, and gives complete physical evualations. I have worked in corporate america over 30 have had HMO, and PPO insurance. Those doctors treat you in there side chairs and mostly check your heart and write prescription for $20.00 co-pays and really receive adequate care. NOT Dr Mahapatra. When you visit her she checks everything!! I love her.
