It took me a while to find a good vascular surgeon around and I am so happy I found the absolute BEST!!! I had several vein procedures with Dr Ascher. All went well, I feel much better, legs swelling, pain and heaviness are completely resolved. I can exercise and walk with no limitations now. Dr Ascher's office is great, brand new, best equipment, all staff are wonderful caring people, true professionals.

I have been a patient of Total Vascular Care / Vascular Institute of New York and Dr Ascher for years and can only say good tings about him, his team of doctors and staff. This is the ONLY place in Brooklyn where patients can get world class vascular care with appointments available 7 days a week! The office is super modern, spotless clean and equipped with top of the line modern diagnostic ultrasound machinery. All staff are attentive and caring, professional and nice. They are performing most of vascular procedures for veins and arteries right there as the office is a fully accredited surgical center. I had my venous procedures done in the office and very happy after, my legs swelling, pain and heaviness are gone! I've read some negative reviews about this practice and totally disagree. Yes, sometimes I had to wait for sonograms and doctor's evaluation but would anyone would trust a doctor with empty waiting room and practice that is not busy? Also, every visit I had basically… included 3-in-1: evaluation visit, high quality sonogram visit, my sonogram was interpreted right away and I had doctor plan my further management based on sonogram immediately. I think these extensive evaluations of my vascular health by world class experts deserve my time. I send all my family and friends with vascular practice to see Dr Ascher and his team without any hesitation knowing they will be taken care like nowhere else!

I was suffering severe varicose veins since age 16 years old which I acquired from my father. I am 57 now and multiple specialists were refusing to help me with my double calf and almost disability secondary to severity of my problem. Dr. Ascher operated on my left leg for 2 hours. After 1 week I returned to work. He has hand of gold and great knowledge of what he is doing and how. I wish Dr. Ascher many many years of health to help people. Thank you my Dear Doctor! Dr Asher is an amazing surgeon and a very kind , patient and very caring to his patients. We could not ask for more. He and his staff provided the best care. If I had to rate him from 1 to 10. He would get a huge 10 He earned it. Thank you Dr Asher for looking after my sister. God Bless you!!!

My message is directed only towards the front personnel, I haven't met the doctors yet, however, i called numerous times to make appointment and was placed on hold for over 15 minutes each without anyone's reply. I understand the multi function and extend of the office staff work load but they do represent the office to potential clients. If the doctors don't pay attention to their quality and professionalism of their staff then may be its time for retirement considering reviews aren't great either

No, I am not happy at all. My legs have twice as many spider veins as I had when I first came there. I was told the horrible leg cramps would go away, they haven't. I've been hospitalized with a blood clots in my lungs weeks after the vein "treatment" was done here. So, no, I'm not a happy camper.

Doctor Ascher has been my Mothers vascular surgeon for around 15 yrs. This man (with God guiding him) saved her life at least 5 times with massive surgeries I do not believe many surgeons could have performed. He may at times come off a little rough but he knows his field! And I do believe he does care about his patients. His new staff is superior to the staff he had at his old location. I highly recommend this Doctor. My ratings above are for the new staff.

Dr. Ascher is great doctor. Only ten minutes waiting time. Told me what to do and fixed my problem. I trust Dctor ascher.

while at this doctors office for about 4 hours, I was sent for a sonogram, left for last patient, when I came out of the sono Room I was put in a consultation room, I began to notice it was dark an d very quiet for a busy office, came out of the room as the sono tec was about to leave, and discovered the doctor, nurse and everyone else in his staff had left for the day. Left behind for the tec to hand me a script for some socks. Livid I left the office, called back the next day and was left on hold. called back a few days later for my results and was told I should go back to the office for results. I do not think so. I would have thought someone would have called to apologize no such luck, I was told to call back when the nurse is there. no one offered to take my info and call me back. overall this was my worst doctors office visit ever in my 51 years of life.
